Today's recipe combines two of my favorite things: trays si & hellip cabbage. Yes, I really think that cabbage is a vegetable too little used in recipes. Most of us just cut cabbage to make a cabbage salad with salt, pepper and vinegar, to be served next to a main course. What a great pity! Cabbage is super healthy, super cheap and VERY versatile!

And the list goes on! Cabbage is a key ingredient in many casserole recipes, including this baked cabbage au gratin that I want to present to you today. And because it's so cheap (especially if you take cabbage from the market), I think it's a dish ideal for families and students.
One of the best things about this baked cabbage is that it is ready in no more than 40 minutes. It is a great idea for dinner, especially on a weekend day, when nothing hurries us. Cut the cabbage, put it in the oven with the rest of the ingredients and the meal is ready.
The classic au gratin recipe also contains a type of minced meat, usually beef or chicken / turkey. It looks a bit like some sarmale & ldquodescompose & rdquo on the tray, only without rice. But because I don't eat meat, I decided to create the vegetarian variant today. So I omitted the meat, but used a lot of mozzarella instead, as well as a few eggs.
NOTE: This recipe not is vegan / fasting. I know I'm used to vegan recipes, but today we're going to try something new. And with a lot of cheese! You can, of course, turn this recipe into a vegan / fasting one if you want. You just have to replace the mozzarella with my homemade vegan mozzarella recipe and eggs with & ldquoou of in & rdquo. The taste will be 100% as good!
And because this baked cabbage is made using a single baking tray, that means less time spent in the kitchen and far fewer dishes to wash at the end. What more could you want?

You can serve it as it is, as a main course (maybe with a little sauce on top for a better taste) or as a side dish with your favorite main course. ADVICE: For this recipe you only need half a medium / small cabbage. Cut. So what do we do with the other half? You can either keep it in the freezer for the next time you make cabbage au gratin in the oven, or prepare a cabbage and potato soup with her. But sometimes I have a craving for chips ... something scary.
This is what happened on the weekend, so I made these wonderful & hellip chips. in the oven.
I recommend them, they are very good, eaten plain, or with a dip, next to a glass of beer.

Wash the potatoes well with a kitchen sponge (rough side).

Or we can leave them simple. I did both.
Grease the baking paper with a lg of oil, using a brush, paper that we put in the stove tray.
Arrange the potato slices in a tray, in a single row, sprinkle with salt (and pepper if we want) and put in the preheated oven.
After about 10-15 minutes, take the tray out of the oven and turn the potato slices on the other side. Leave for another 5-10 minutes in the oven.

When we take them out of the oven and put them on the stretched plates, so that they do not overlap too much, so as not to soften. After they cool, we can superimpose them.
